It's now all systems go for the 4th Flipinos Making Waves Festival on August 21-22, 2010 at the Yonge-Dundas Square in the nerve-center of the beuatiful city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

According to Ms. Teresa Mendoza Torralba, president of the Focus and Friends Cultural Arts and Music, Mon Torralba, the musical and entertainment director is now preparing the performers in the musical portion of the program to cater not only to the Filipino audience but also to Canadians and to foreign visitors in Canada.
Mon Torralba is an original member of the HOTDOG band in the Philippines which group captured their fans in the 70's although those who are interested to join the festival during the two days program schedule can get in touch with anyone of them any day until the first week of August this year at Email:

Business opportunities include food booths, craft booths, trade and exhibits. and promo banners.
The highlights of the festival include live concerts,youth waves and the parade which will be scheduled on August 22, 2010.
The Filipinos Making Waves Festinal is continuing to promote the Filipino cultural heritage, music, arts, food, and Filipino products.

The Yonge-Dundas Square is adjacent to the Eaton Center Mall and a top foreign tourists destination place and the busiest shopping centre in Canada. Nearly 55,000 vehicles and 62, 000 pedestrians are in the area daily.
A day before the start of the festival which is August 20, 2010, will be a festival reception and fashion show which is named "Tanaw Mindanaw" or "Seeing Mindanao" with internationally known designer Emi Englis.
