Press Release
The Philippine Trade & Investment Center (PTIC) in Rotterdam is organizing for the second time the Mag-Negosyo Tayo Seminar, a one-day event featuring workshops on micro-finance, investment options & alternatives, wealth management, opportunities in franchising, real estate, tourism, retirement and how to do business in the Philippines and the Netherlands.
The seminar aims to encourage Filipino migrants, overseas Filipino workers and their Dutch partners to invest their hard-earned money wisely and start their own business in a way that could help their families back home and also contribute to the country’s development such as providing jobs to their countrymen.
The seminar-workshop is meant to inform and educate the attendees on possible investment options and alternatives that they can avail of from banks or formal institutions and provide suggestions on how they could properly invest their income in viable business opportunities in the Netherlands, the Philippines or a linked business in both countries.
For those who are interested to do business in the Netherlands, the Mag-Negosyo Tayo Seminar will feature a resource speaker from the Chamber of Commerce to discuss the basics of starting a business in the Netherlands – requirements, procedures and business opportunities that Filipinos can do in the Netherlands.
The seminar is also a mini-trade fair/exposition where businesses catering to the Filipino community will be present to further promote their products and services. Participants at the seminar will also take home with them information kits on doing business in the Philippines and in the Netherlands and a chance to win exciting prizes during the raffle draw.
The seminar will be held on the 28th of August from 13:00 to 19:00 hrs at the Le Jardin Room of Hilton Hotel in Rotterdam. The event is being organized in cooperation with the Economic Resource Center for Migrants and Overseas Employees (Stichting Ercmove), a non-profit organization in the Netherlands that advocates financial literacy and offers various financial advisory services.
