Antipolo, capitolio, February 7, 2011--Rizal is the province with the largest revenue in the Philippines. It is also the province with a large number of active knights and chapters. Most of the chapters were organized by the former supreme commander, Sir Virgilio S. Esguerra, KGCR and laureate of the Pro Patria medallion, the most prestigious award of the Order.

Twenty-four postulants were dubbed to knighthood. Here they are blindfolded in remembrance of “the political darkness in which our people lived at the time Rizal was marched to the field of Bagumbayan on that fateful morning of December 30, 1896.”
It was no surprise then, when Sir Ver invited all the knights of the Manila area to the grand induction of knights in Rizal and the special conferment of the fourth degree of knighthood, Knight Grand Officer of Rizal (KGOR), on the Governor of the province, Casimiro A. Ynares III, M.D.
“I dub you Knight of Rizal, Arise, Sir Casimiro.” Sir Pablo Trillana III,
KGCR formally inducts the Governor to Knighthood.
The province of Rizal is well known for its successful educational centres, both public and private, and its 6,000 scholarships awarded to needy students. Rizal also has an efficient hospital system. The Governor is himself a medical doctor.

Hon. Frisco San Juan, vice-governor takes his oath as
Knight Commander of Rizal. Sir Carlos holds the Noli Me Tangere.
After knighthood was conferred on both the governor and the vice-governor, Hon. Frisco San Juan in turn was elevated to the rank of Knight Commander of Rizal (KCR).
Topping the ceremonies was the fraternal dinner hosted by the twelve chapters of Rizal.
