The officers and members of the Daughters of Isabella, Queen of Peace Circle 1297 headed by the humble hard working lady, Regent Sister Estelita "Ethel" Panganiban Stewart marked its thirty (30) years offounding recently serving the community in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The theme which is being embraced by the group include charity. frienship, and unity.
Regent Sister Ethel Stewart commitment to the ideals and vision of the Daughters of Isabella, Queen of Peace Circle 1297, got a strong support and cooperation from the officers and members of the circle including the members of the parishioners of the St. John 23rd Parish.
It took them several months in preparing for the celebration and it was a big successbecause of the sharing with one another of the members of the community where the circle has been serving.
There were about 400 guests who came to attend and participate during the event at the Rembrandt Banquet Hall at Progress corner Markham, Scarborough, Ontario, Canada.
Some of those who came include Ontario's Trillum State Regent Sister Ligaya L. Cana, International Director Sister Monique Kelly, Regent Sister Sandra Kolsteren, Regent Sister Margaret Hughes,Regent Sister Ana Rosa, Regent Sister Rita Venantius, including their members, CHAPLAIN FR. SIMON DE GALE, and many more.
The highlight of the celebration was the coronation of Sister Normita"Mitz" M. Canlas as the Queen of Our Lady of Peace 1297 for the year 2011; Queen of Charity - Sister Rose Letrondo; Queen of Frienship - Sister Evangeline Caracas, Queen of Unity - Sister Irene de la Cruz; and Queen of Hope - Sister Nellie Bautista.
The occasion was flavoured by the last walk of Queen Araceli "Eli" del Mundo Catli, the outgoing Queen of Our Lady of Peace Circle 1297. (St. Jamestown News Service)*********
