HIMIG AT GALAW SING AND DANCE CONTEST IN THE NETHERLANDS

Dear Kababayan
 
We are happy to inform you about the new sing and dance contest for Filipino’s in Holland;
HIMIG@GALAW!!!
 
As all plans will proceed as they do now, HIMIG@GALAW will be held on April 28, 2012.
At the moment we start promoting our event at the different Filipino parties held thru the country and you may also find us at The Philippines Independence Day on June 11, 2011 in Spaarnwoude.
 
The idea of organizing an event like this rised when our son Kim joined Hollands Got Talent 2010. He mentioned in one of his interviews, that time, that he would like to help the poor children. This made us think for a long time. With the result of organising a new sing and dance contest for charity. The charity will be the streetchildren of Lucena City in Quezon Province, the place where our roots are and also the place where Kim lived for about six years of his life.
 
Ofcourse there is no contest without contestants, so thats why we write this letter to you.
We thought it would be great as all the Filipino Communities in Holland can send their representative to HIMIG@GALAW,  to either join the sing or dance contest.
There will be two categories, on age, in the singing contest and only one category in the dance contest. We like to have a maximum of 6 contestants only in every category, which means that there is only place for 18 acts. When there are more applications we might change the maximum allowed contestants in every category. More info about this will follow soon.
 
HIMIG@GALAW will be held on April 28, 2012 in Het Spant in Ameide, convenient located in between highways A2 and A27.
 
Hopefully all of you would like to forward this letter to your members, so we might make HIMIG@GALAW a great succes together with the Filipino Communities in Holland.
