With a  big, solid attendance of more than 300 guests, supporters, friends and family members, The Featineans Association of Toronto ( TFAT) celebrates Spring with a Fling at the Garnet Williams Community Centre, City of Vaughan,Ontario on April 14, 2012. The fundraising event is in support of the organization's 10-year old scholarship project at its alma mater as well as at- need financial assistance to targeted beneficiaries in the home country and Canada.

 The FEATI University alumni-based socioprofessional organization, organized in July, 1989, is headed by Moises Ga, its current president. TFAT's founders, officers and directors , who successfully planned and coordinated the dinner-dance, include : Annie & Julio Buiza, Tony & Joy San Juan, Fanny & Greg Gravador, Nenita & Max Recaido, Rose & Tom Flores, Florence & Ron Carpio, Oliver Rey, Tirso Balitian, Res Paje, Cesar Banda, Virginia Maruso, Rudy Olay & Rudy Ortiz. Nanay's Catering served 5-viand dinner and Florence Sound aptly provided the ballroom & line-dance music.
 
In attendance at the annual event are Filipino Canadian community leaders and association officers from :  Knights of Rizal, Philippine Artists Group, Pangasinan Assoc.of Canada, Malasiqui Association, Mariposa Club, Scarborough Seniors Assoc., First Filipino Canadian Assoc. of Vaughan, Our Lady of Penafrancia Group, Pangasinan Assoc. of North America, and other province-based cultural organizations in the GTA.(TSJ)
