As a step towards its success, both organizations pledges support via information dissemination to widen the campaign. This is the organizations’ answer to the massive call of the Embassy for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) where the extensive help of different community organizations is needed. The Embassy is very keen in encouraging the involvement and great participation of OFWs for the upcoming National Elections for Senate and Party-list Representative come April-May 2013. Present during that day is the OAV Head, Vice Consul Red Genotiva.

Asked how far the campaign is responding, Genotiva said they are exerting efforts.
“
For now, we have more than 3,000 registered OFWs compared to 7,000 last 2009. We still have 6 more months to go that’s why we are exerting more efforts to reach to our Kabayans. Buraidah is the next stop this coming weekend,” he said.
In addition, the OAV Team plans to utilize the resources of International Schools in Riyadh for better access and more comfortable registration.
“
Access to hospitals and villa accommodations where most OFWs are housed is possible wherein the Embassy will send letter of request to companies for authorization of conducting the mobile OAV registration in their respective places,” he added during quick interview.
