Philippine Canadian Charitable Foundation (PCCF) once again broke new ground on May 5th, 2012 by holding pre-pageants for the next Miss Philippines Canada and Little Miss Philippines Canada 2012. It was beyond the expectations of the Committee and overall pageant Chair, Rosemer Enverga, expressed her speech with delight to the largest and most energetic crowd that ever came to support PCCF pre-pageant events.

The Korean Cultural Center was “standing room only” for both the Little Miss and Miss Philippines Canada pre pageants. People in the hall were incredibly thrilled by the performances of all the candidates, from great ballads, to drama acts, to street dancing to high-energy Karate number. It was non-stop entertainment for everyone as the candidates strut in their favourite casual wear and their elegant evening gowns. The crowd bearing banners of their favourite candidates cheered to their hearts' delight all throughout the day and evening except perhaps during the question and answer period where candidates were given the opportunity to show everyone that they were both beauty and brains. Most people believe the PCCF pageants are the most prestigious and the biggest pageants of its kind in Toronto, according to PCCF president, Jimmy Marasigan, "the measure of success is not in the number of people attending the event, it is the sincerity of everyone in helping PCCF make a difference in helping the poor and the needy in the Philippines!". Just some of the comments shared... "My daughter's been jumping for joy since winning her special award and talking about all what she's done", "You promote the beauty and talents of these young ladies by bringing out the best in them without having to bring others down!", "Lahat maganda... you cannot compare them all."

Rosemer Enverga added,” If you believe that the pre-pageants were exhilarating and exciting, you haven't seen nothing yet! You have to see the Finals at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre during the Pinoy Fiesta and Trade Show sa Toronto on June 9. Choreographer Kim Belen and our hardworking Co-chairs Sheila Canizares, Leslie Ruiz, Bing Marasigan and Gloria Rafanan have prepared a presentation that will be beyond everyone’s imagination. Supporting PCCF is having fun and helping at the same time!”
