Jeddah: After more than three months of action and thrilling basketball games, four giant teams from prestigious companies emerged champions in their respective groups at the recently concluded 32nd FBA Basketball Tournament at the Sheraton Jeddah Hotel Sports Complex here. FBA president Edgar Mendoza and Commissioner Jonathan Canda were one in saying that the recently concluded event was another very successful tournament.

The brilliant team members of Symone headed by team manager George Feliciano and coach Amang Catador under Inter-Company Bona fide Reinforced Group 2 that recorded eight deadlocks from 3^rd to fourth quarter won in a breathtaking game over the equally strong team of Al-Muhaidib Robert & Friends represented by playing coach, Pablo Viscayno and Robert De Guzman with the final score of 108-105. Timeless-KFAFH team coach Albert Vicare and manager Marie Louise Swanepoel of the Bona fide Reinforced Group 1 won convincingly against Chempoweroz of coach Mike Llames and manager Sonny Camcaman, 91-71 while Paninos team of veteran coach Gary Santos and assistant Jing Santos and manager Ernie Cabawatan triumphantly upset Flying Angels of coah Erick Pingul & manager Dang Morales, 111- 91.

The next FBA tournament (33rd Season) is scheduled to open on 17 August 2012 and is open for the following divisions - Inter-Company Bona fide A&B, Inter-Hotel & Hospital, Open Non-Rated and Open Rated Division.
