Marx came to Australia as a boxer but his love for cooking changed the course of his life which ultimately made him a professional chef. ‘
Para sa aking mga kababayan’, Marx emphatically made clear when asked to whom he dedicated his cookbook. Besides his passion for cooking, Marx heart also beats for a genuine community service as shown in his active involvement with APCO as one of its directors. He remains very approachable and friendly and whenever possible goes back to his Visayan island motherland to teach communities how to cook healthy yet simple food.
