This year on July 28th, Saturday. the annual pilgrimage to the Fatima Shrine will be its 28th celebration headed by Tom Mijares of New York. Holy mass is concelebrated led by Mons. Expedito Joano with Filipino and American priests, with Ven Faundo as the mass commentator.
The shrine is administered by the Barnabite Fathers. Filipinos and foreigners from both sides of the Niagara Falls flock to this pilgrimage site together with their families.
There is a procession, singing of Marian songs and recitation of the rosary, around the church ground before commencing the Holy Mass. Afterwards, there is a
communal pot luck lunch and a cultural presentations.
At the end of the day, the pilgrims disperse to their respective homes but some digress to the factory outlet stores around the area.
