The Filipinos cultural heritage continue to be promoted by the Filipinos Making Waves Festival under the leadership of the wife and husband team of Teresa Mendoza Torralba and Ramon Torralba, an original member of the famous Hotdog Band which was very popular in the 70's/
On its 6th Year of dynamic and vibrant activities which showcase the Filipino culture its' music, art, crafts, and food, the Filipinos Making Waves Festival is expected to draw thousands of people from different cultures who are now settled in Canada and United States.
The FMWFestival is scheduled to present its group of talented Filipino singers and dancers on the stage of the corner Yonge and Dundas Square which is located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, in Canada on
August 18, 2012 (Saturday).
One of the internationally known Filipino belter will be JED MADELA who have engraved his
name in the field of music by interprtating songs from classical to ballad and then switching to
popular music which the youth of all cultures tend to favor for their delight and enjoyment.
So roll your sleeves and let's go for the different music, dances, arts, foods, and among others.
