The birth of a child for a new family is a great and pride worthy of celebration. As we see them grow-up following the footsteps of Christian values of life in a peaceful, democratic and environment safe atmosphere, they in tum become good citizens of the adopted country they embraced. The family oriented Ontario Filipino Women's Club belongs to that level of association with a sense of belonging to the community, charity, service to town and country. The pioneering spirit of one of the oldest exclusive women only pathfinders who formed the association in 1982 led the way towards the accomplishments of that mission.

The officers and some members of the Ontario Filipino Women's Club (OFWC)
They say life begins at 40 but at only 30 years old today, we consider the OFWC young but experienced enough to tackle any present and or future obstacles that lay ahead. We are still young at heart, mind body and spirit. During the years of our existence as non profit charitable, cultural, and educational organization, we see public figures like the Prime Minister, Premier, Mps', among other, come and goes but replaced by another set of energetic, young people with a progressive vision. The OFWC experienced the same process too either when the officers' tenn expired, members leave due to illness, old age and or had an appointment with their Creator. We immeasurably missed them but never forget their wise advised, sacrificed and unconditional love which we will forever cherish.
As we approach the threshold of our existence, may the OFWC stay active long enough to accomplish much more that will leave a lasting legacy, memory to the people/charities we have helped and continue to help with an unblemished love before we reach our coveted "Golden Year", though still years ahead.
Eventually, we consider both the OFWC and our adopted country Canada a second home away from home. No homesickness, never lonely, not a dull moment. In the light vein, allow me to quote an appropriate phrase for this feelings, to wit: "Having someplace to go HOME. Having someone to love is FAMILY. Having both ... BLESSINGS."
As a flashback and afterthought, the Ontario Filipino Women's Club family adheres to that words of wisdom and vision.
