SYDNEY – The Australia Philippines Services League (APSL) will wave the Philippine flag on Anzac Day, ensuring it flies with pride alongside those of the Allied Forces at the annual parade 25 April.
Paying a dignified tribute, APSL Supreme Commander Col. Chris Pilao said that Anzac Day provides an excellent opportunity for the Philippines to march with allies in Australia, and reiterates the Filipino community’s commitment to be involved in mainstream activities.
SYDNEY – The Australia Philippines Services League recently rallied behind Agooenians, supporting their fund-raising activity and confirming APSL’s commitment to community projects.
The Agooenians & Friends Inc. conducted the activity for their scholar, Riza Mae Evangelista, who is studying to become a teacher at Don Mariano Marcos State University in Agoo, La Union, a province within the Ilocos region of the Philippines.
