I was customer #5 at the neighbourhood pharmacy one morning. I wanted to get a 'herhalingsrecept' (repeat prescription) for my brand new and ridiculously expensive medication for treating my high cholesterol levels. I have to shell out my own money first before it can be shouldered by my insurance, and getting the reimbursement requires filling and sending paper forms. She led development communications training for an NGO for the peasant sector in the Philippines and taught communications, humanities, art appreciation and politics at De La Salle University and UP-Manila. She was editor-in-chief of the campus literary publication, Malate, and was one of the 10 outstanding coeds of 1991.

Timi met her husband in a multiplayer online role-playing game in 2000 and came to live in the Netherlands in 2001. She now has a 1-yr. old baby boy. She used to be owned by 23 cats back in Manila.
