Thank you „Munting Nayon“ for your initiative in publishing background information about the different personalities running for national presidency this coming May 2010. I personally consider your articles about them for us Pinoys overseas, for it is a big help in decision-making/selection of candidate[s], to campaign for him or for them, at least, within the family limits, or in the neighbourhood, friends circle or maybe even more, why not? Trust and competence is very important and the personal background is very relevant to know -his age, educational background, working experiences, CRIMINAL OFFENCES, international exposure and merits and other professional advancements, contibutory to the national interest and progress of the Philippines and welfare of the Filipino people, especially the majority who are suffering from poverty and deprived of proper education.

Muntin Nayon Newsletter is very interesting, informative and enjoyable to read. Thank you and congratulations!

DEAR MUNTING NAYON,

ELECTION IS HEAR AGAIN AND CANDIDATE IS ASKING US TO VOTE FOR THEM FOR THEY SO CALLED PROGRESS OF THE NATION.

HOWEVER, I AM NOT LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES BUT MY FAMILY IS STILL THERE AND AS I SEE IT THE NATION IS NOT PROGRESSING. THERE IS STILL LOTS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE LIVING IN POVERTY SPECIALLY THOSE FARMERS IN REMOTE AREA.

I BELIEVE WE SHOULD LET THEM DECIDE WHICH CANDIDATE IS REALLY HELPING THE COUNTRY OR THE PEOPLE. WE DON'T EXPERIENCE THERE LIFE. OUR LIFE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY IS DEFERENT.

WE SHOULD NOT INTERFERE ON THERE BEHALF. THE NEWS WE RECEIVE FROM ABROAD IS ENTIRELY DEFERENT. WE DON'T REALLY GET THE REAL PICTURE OF LIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES AND THE ACTION OF THE POLITICIANS.

PLEASE LETS BE CAREFUL ABOUT THIS ISSUE. WE ARE CONSIDER A FOREIGNERS AND WE ARE NOT SUPPOSEDLY VOTE FOR THE POLITICIANS WE DO NOT KNOW.

WE ARE GIVEN PRIVILEGE TO VOTE IN THE COUNTRY WE LIVE IN. IS THAT NOT ENOUGH FOR US, BECAUSE WE ARE INSIDE THERE TERRITORIES. THAT IS OUR RIGHT AS WE LIVE THE COUNTRY WE LIVE IN.

AMIE
