hello.. im 21 years old and interested to take dutch inbugering course here in the phillipines.. may i know the place or the address of the school and how much it costs. thank you.
To whom it may concern,
I really agreed that dutch language is not easy to learn but if there's a will there's a way...and if you learn it by heart you will succeed on it.And I know all Filipinos are great achievers to reach their goals in life...and I wanna wish all my fellow Filipinos who are planning to come to Holland a big success!!!!
Dear Capt. Catherine:
You certainly have impressed me with your outstanding accomplishments. We are proud of you in your successful chosen career.
I wonder if it would be possible to reprint this article in my newspaper, the MANILA-U.S. TIMES, along with some photos?
I am also requesting permission to reprint from Eddie Flores. Please let me know.
Thank you.

Hello Kuya Eddie and the organizer of this year's picnic. Congratulations for the job well done. Every year the event is getting bigger and more organize. Thank you very much and my best regards.

Hi,
it is nice to hear a good news from The Netherlands. If you have acquaintance from berghaus ladies from 1966 - 1972 I am sending my greetings to them. Getting message from Holland makes me home sick because that is my second home where I find my Holland friends wonderfully caring while you are alone.
I have enjoyed my moment of stay out there. You should be grateful having a wonderful Europe experienced.
I have been in Canada since I left Holland but I still love Holland and it is just like yesterday all the memories.
Anybody you know from Berghaus from Gendringen, Wehl, Ulft and Kruitberg...Say greetings from me, Amie Rigor Chester. Tell them I love to see them one more time before time pass on. We all pensioners as of now.
Thanks and have a nice day.

dear Eddie / Orquidia,
I enjoyed reading all the articles about the Pinoys and Pinays in Netherlands, the pictures of your trips on MNTravelogue, with Danny and Cindy...., saw picture of Ambassador Romy Arguelles, etc.
I think I mentioned to you when we met at the wake of your Mom in the Philippines years ago, that my wife Cora, my daughter Tess, brought Filipino Jazz Artists to the NORTH SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL there when we owned then Jazz FM Radio Station, CITY LITE 88.3.
We were wonderfully entertained by our Ambassador Romeo Arguelles and his wife Dra. Ennie Arguelles.
Please continue this great work of advocacy and information dissemination about us Pinoys/Pinays who are shining example of "KAYA NATIN ITO !".

thanks for your efforts in featuring stories about the Filipino community. it's a good medium to know what's going on with the Filipino community. at first i was quite surprised to receive this and didn't know what it was. it was a pleasant surprise to see what was at the end of the link! i enjoyed reading parts of the newsletter. keep up the good work!!!
tanong ko lang po - may Filipino version po ba ang munting nayon? naisip ko po kasi, mainam siguro kung merong version sa sarili nating salita. marami pong mga websites at publications in several languages. i can imagine that it's a lot of work and resource intensive. perhaps having a pool of volunteers to translate some parts would help (bit by bit?).

UPDATE : August 24, 2008
On the possibility of inclusion in the coverage.../P>
"Unlimited Stay in the Philippines"
ZORGVERZEKERING (Health Insurance) in the Netherlands
By Orquidia Valenzuela (member Grey Club Steering Committee)
Since the Grey Club started the campaign, it has contacted several zorgverzekering offices and agents. To this date, NO zorgverzekering can offer a medical insurance for an unlimited stay in the Philippines for a premium like that being charged here. They are offering a world-wide medical insurance at an exorbitant cost. The insurance agents in the Philippines have limited coverage. Additional coverage means high premium.
Some zorgverzekering allow a stay of 12 months outside the Netherlands in a non-EU country (like the Philippines). This 12-month stay is given to some business concerns / organizations / stiching (like the Katholieke Bond Vereniging (KBO). But, there are conditions imposed on the insured person: must be a resident of the Netherlands; has a bank account in the Netherlands; and must return on or before the 12-month period elapses.
If one is still working or if his/her insurance is still with the same office, check, if your zorgverzekering has 12-month medical coverage outside the EU.
If you are already in the AOW you can ask your zorgverzekering what stichting is connected with them that gives the 12-month medical coverage.
As reported earlier, KBO (open to 65+) is affiliated with ZilverenKruis/Achmea and its members get instead of 6 months, 12 months medical insurance coverage outside EU (like the Philippines). KBO has offices all over the The Netherlands and membership is about 15 euro/year for single.)
We are waiting for a few months more before the year ends if there are changes in the medical coverage of zorgverzekeringen in the Netherlands.
Wow!!! What a story! :)
Congratulations to you Captain! You're truly an inspiration to all of us.
Thumbs up and more power to you!
Greetings from the Netherlands,
May
P.S.
Can I publish this in my site? Thanks.
