Now in its 20th year of publication, Munting Nayon News Magazine(MN) is published monthly and mailed to recipients, catering to the Filipino Community of The Netherlands, including some recipients in Belgium, Luxembourg, and other European countries as well as USA, Canada and the Philippines. MN is operated by couple Eddie Flores and Orquidia Valenzuela.

   On November 20, 2007 the investigating judge in the pre-trial investigation of Jose Maria Sison issued in The Hague, her decision to close the criminal pre-trial investigation of the Communist Party of the Philippines Founding Chair in connection with the murders of Romulo Kintanar and Arturo Tabara, due to lack of sufficient evidence.

   On the basis of the Dutch Law on Criminal Procedure Article 237 which stipulates that the judge-commissioner ought to close the criminal pre-investigation if there is no ground for continuing it, the Judge-Commissioner in Court of Justice-The Hague closed its criminal pre-investigation case against Professor Jose Maria Sison.
